Profile Overview
Seeking a dynamic, client-facing professional with foundational expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to design and deploy data science solutions.
Primary responsibilities involve bridging complex business challenges in the financial services sector with advanced AI use cases.
Candidates will lead discovery workshops, elicit technical requirements, define success metrics, and translate client problems into robust delivery plans.
The role requires active participation in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoCs), proofs of value (POVs), and technical narrative creation.
Responsibilities extend to managing client reviews, documentation, and formal sign-off procedures for functional documents and deliverables.
Collaboration with internal engineering teams is vital to productionize models using established MLOps practices and enterprise standards.
The position involves building predictive and generative models specifically tailored for financial services compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
Continuous engagement with product and R&D teams is expected to share best practices, client feedback, and roadmap influences.
Qualifications
Strong foundational understanding of data science principles, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methodologies applied in enterprise settings.
Client-facing capabilities including delivering structured presentations, facilitating interactive workshops, and managing client expectations effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholder audiences.
Proficiency in core programming languages, specifically Python using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
Exposure to advanced analytical techniques such as Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, graph analytics, time-series forecasting, and anomaly detection.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices, version control systems, and Agile methodologies.
Strong interpersonal skills combined with a structured, problem-solving mindset and adaptability to fast-paced project lifecycles.
Preferred familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks, compliance processes, anti-money laundering (AML), and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols.
