Profile overview:
The Data Analyst will serve as a core analytical engine for commercial and operational workflows globally, carrying dedicated responsibility for driving data intelligence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Middle East & Africa (MEA) regional territories.
This position acts as a critical strategic partner to regional commercial, sales operations, and supply chain leadership teams, transforming vast and complex data structures into clear, actionable business insights that enhance decision-making.
Regional Data Ownership & Management responsibilities:
Taking full end-to-end accountability and stewardship for all commercial datasets across APAC and MEA, ensuring maximum data integrity, accuracy, timeliness, and user accessibility.
Proactively detecting, analyzing, and resolving data anomalies, discrepancies, and pipeline failures independently to preserve high organizational standards of data quality.
Performing rapid ad-hoc quantitative analyses and business modeling in response to immediate leadership requests, converting open-ended business challenges into structured analytical solutions.
Collaborating closely with commercial directors, key account managers, and logistics planners to understand localized business challenges and deliver empirical recommendations.
S&OP Analysis & Data Infrastructure responsibilities:
Assuming complete ownership of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) analytics across target geographies, defining and shaping the long-term strategic trajectory of S&OP performance measurement.
Developing, maintaining, and enhancing interactive S&OP dashboards and tracking frameworks designed to identify operational risks and commercial opportunities early.
Monitoring critical supply chain dynamics, including demand and supply imbalances, forecast precision, inventory buffers, and out-of-stock (OOS) risk factors.
Driving continuous refinement and optimization of regional S&OP reporting mechanisms, data transformation scripts, and core KPI frameworks.
Providing key operational insights that empower executive teams to optimize inventory distribution, streamline stock allocation, and reduce carrying costs.
Insight Generation & Senior Stakeholder Engagement responsibilities:
Uncovering hidden patterns, efficiency gaps, and commercial opportunities proactively through advanced exploratory data analysis.

Qualifications:
Academic Foundation:
Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative or technical fields, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Life Sciences, or relevant Engineering disciplines.
Solid grounding in quantitative methodologies, statistical reasoning, mathematical modeling, and data evaluation principles.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 0 to 3 years (or equivalent relevant professional exposure) acting in a commercial data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or operational data consultant role.
Demonstrated history of working directly alongside commercial, marketing, sales, or supply chain execution teams in a fast-moving business context.
Proven capability to lead cross-functional data initiatives independently, delivering tangible commercial impact through effective stakeholder alignment and communication.
Prior exposure to or professional experience within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare distribution, or medical device industries is considered highly beneficial.
Prior experience operating within fast-paced, private equity-backed, or high-growth corporate structures where adaptability and speed of execution are paramount.
Practical experience dealing with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), demand forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain logistics analytics is strongly desired.
