About the Role: The role of Business Analyst is an Individual Contributor position where you will assume responsibility for tracking vital metrics and communicating business trends to stakeholders. You will closely collaborate with the business and product teams, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate closely with internal Flipkart teams to identify, define, collect, and monitor key business metrics for products or business processes.
Retrieve necessary data to conduct business analysis, generate reports, dashboards, and metrics for performance monitoring.
Conduct quantitative analysis, transforming data into actionable insights.
Engage with and influence stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

What You'll Need:

Educational/Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline from a reputable institute, OR
- An MBA from a reputable institute.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
Required Abilities/Competencies:
- Proficiency in translating structured and unstructured problems into an analytical framework.
- Ability to experiment with various analytical techniques to solve problems.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to independently plan and execute deliverables.
- Multitasking skills to handle diverse requirements.

Technical Capabilities:

Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other scripting languages (e.g., R, Python).
Fundamental understanding of statistical modeling and statistical tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS, or SPSS.
Bonus: Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc.).
