The role of Data Scientist AI Specialist is positioned at the intersection of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and climate-focused data analysis.
This position involves working within the ESG & Climate Carbon Markets Data Science team, which builds scalable AI applications to strengthen MSCI’s climate analytics platforms.
The selected candidate will design and deploy applications using advanced machine learning, forecasting, and large language model (LLM) integration.

Practical knowledge of machine learning pipelines, time-series forecasting models such as XGBoost and LSTM, and unstructured data processing.
Hands-on experience in building user-friendly interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, or React.
Awareness of cloud technologies with preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Vertex AI and Cloud Run/Jobs.
Exposure to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices and infrastructure-as-code approaches such as Terraform.
Ability to maintain quality standards through unit testing and strong development practices.
