• This is a contractor position that does not include medical or paid leave benefits.

• The initial contract duration is one month, with the expected start date in the coming week.

What does day-to-day look like:

• Design and write Python code that is both efficient and high quality to support the training and optimization of AI models.

• Evaluate the performance of AI models by conducting thorough tests (Evals), measuring results, and suggesting enhancements.

• Analyze and rank model responses to diverse user queries, using predetermined guidelines to ensure accuracy and alignment.

• Develop detailed explanations and justifications for your evaluations, making sure that the reasoning behind each decision is clear and well-documented.

• Lead tasks related to Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), including the creation and maintenance of data sets that are tailored to specific tasks or goals.

• Work in collaboration with researchers and data labelers to run Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) processes, improving reward models through iterative feedback.

• Develop innovative evaluation strategies and processes that help ensure the model better meets user needs and ethical standards.

• Provide clear, well-thought-out responses that enhance AI performance, focusing on technical accuracy and relevance to the task.
