Profile Overview

• The role belongs to the Analytics function which drives decision-making throughout the organization.

• As a Business Analyst I, you will help teams become more data-informed by gathering, validating, and analyzing critical business data.

• You will support strategic planning and execution across business, product, finance, and compliance teams.

• You will be involved in end-to-end data handling processes, from collection and cleansing to analysis and reporting.

• The scope of the role includes creating data dashboards, standardizing reporting mechanisms, and suggesting business improvements using data insights.

• Cross-functional collaboration is key in this role as you’ll work with product managers, finance, engineering, and risk teams.

• You will also contribute to improving internal processes by identifying bottlenecks and streamlining data collection methods.

• This is a foundational role for individuals looking to grow in the analytics and fintech space, providing exposure to real-world business problems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and any Business Intelligence platform (like Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, Looker, or Quicksight).

• A solid understanding of basic statistical concepts such as distributions, central tendency, sampling, and hypothesis testing.

• Good grasp of data platforms and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Proven ability to identify relevant data sources and apply them to solve business problems or validate hypotheses.

• Exposure to basic machine learning concepts such as classification or regression using tools like R or Python is considered a plus.

• Experience with marketing tools such as MoEngage, CleverTap, or Appsflyer is an advantage.

• Background or understanding of financial services including lending, insurance, or banking domains is also beneficial.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
