Responsibilities:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to extract relevant insights from structured and unstructured data.

  • Retrieve necessary datasets from SQL databases for in-depth analysis.

  • Use tools like Python, R, and Excel to manipulate, clean, and analyze data.

  • Apply statistical tests and significance analysis to validate patterns and hypotheses.

  • Use visualization tools such as Tableau to present insights in a digestible and informative manner.

  • Partner with data engineers for technical collaboration and output refinement.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction is essential.

  • Skilled in at least one statistical programming language such as Python or R, with flexibility to use the most suitable tool per project.

  • Capable of describing project lifecycle—from problem identification and hypothesis formulation to execution and final presentation.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for analysis and quick data manipulation when needed.

  • Experience in using Tableau for visual storytelling and insight communication.

  • Effective communicator with a strong sense of audience and ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in project execution; ability to pivot strategies when challenges arise.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or working in an Agile team environment is highly valued.

  • Understands the nature of iterative project development and can balance perfection with practical deliverables.
