Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance for Operating Unit (OU) innovation projects.
• Act as a pivotal enabler to overcome operational challenges.
• Collaborate with innovation teams on machine control, data processing, and advanced analytics.

Data Analytics and Modeling

• Develop analytic solutions to address business needs using advanced tools.
• Create predictive/prescriptive models to optimize processes, reduce effort, and enhance product quality.
• Establish data pipelines across global sites to maintain consistency and efficiency.

Data Management and Maintenance

• Define and maintain analytical models, alarming systems, and reporting methodologies.
• Partner with process and IT teams to develop and manage data models for analytical capabilities.
• Conduct external research to incorporate new technologies and standards for smart manufacturing.

Problem-Solving and Reliability

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to prognostic models.
• Leverage reliability engineering and data science to design innovative solutions reducing operational losses.

Qualifications

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems/Engineering, Business/Management Information Systems, Programming, Software Development, Operations Research, or Statistics.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in Python, R, SAS, Azure ML, Matlab, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning methodologies.

• Skills in Data Architecture:

  • Familiar with relational databases, data warehouses, and big data management.

• Analytical Proficiency:

  • Skilled in forming hypotheses and extracting insights from structured/unstructured data.
