Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Create accurate mapping documents according to the mapping process.
2. Deliver first draft solutions to ETL/Reporting/Conversion for coding.
3. Support DSD creation and response.
4. Present analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, customers, and vendors.
5. Support ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on created mappings.
6. Work closely with configuration team and DBAs to ensure synchronicity of configuration to interfaces and mappings.
7. Refine mapping documents, adding detail and filling out deferred material.
8. Utilize SQL, data models, data element dictionary, and schema for data and business analysis.
9. Create unit test cases for area of responsibility.
10. Validate test plan results that satisfy detailed design goals.
11. Update technical specifications and mappings.
12. Support various testing phases including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Analytical and data analysis skills within a technical environment, preferably SQL.
• Healthcare knowledge within a claims processing environment, preferably in Medicaid.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships.

3. Healthcare/business knowledge in member, eligibility, TPL, claims processing, provider, pharmacy claims.
