Profile overview:
This role is positioned within the Model Risk Management Group (MRMG) under the Global Risk and Compliance organization, focusing on the independent oversight of advanced technologies.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the assessment, governance, and monitoring of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI applications, and sophisticated Machine Learning models.
These AI-driven models are critical to the company’s core functions, including marketing strategies, credit underwriting, fraud prevention, customer engagement, operations, and complex risk decisioning.
The analyst will play a pivotal role in strengthening the enterprise’s model risk controls while ensuring that all AI systems remain compliant with evolving global regulatory expectations and internal governance standards.
Success in this position requires a blend of high-level analytical skills, intellectual curiosity regarding emerging AI/ML technologies, and the ability to translate technical outputs into actionable insights.
The analyst will frequently interact with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to support the validation and safe deployment of AI assets across the enterprise.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an MBA or a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, AI/ML, Generative AI, or other quantitative fields from a top-tier academic institute.
The role targets early-career professionals with 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, model development, model validation, or complex big-data workstreams.
Prior exposure to AI/ML model development, testing, or validation—whether gained through professional experience, academic projects, or internships—is highly preferred.
A strong interest in or early foundational exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based systems is considered a significant advantage for prospective applicants.
Technical proficiency is required, specifically a foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience using programming languages such as Python, PySpark, R, or SQL.
Essential core capabilities include advanced problem-solving skills, structured thinking, and the ability to clearly communicate technical findings to diverse non-technical stakeholders.
