About Ipsos Healthcare: The Ipsos Healthcare division collaborates with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device manufacturers, and technology companies across various stages of projects, from early-stage strategy to product launch and optimization. Beyond custom research, the Healthcare Service Line focuses on therapeutic centers of expertise in Oncology, Autoimmune, Virology, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and Analysis:

    • Collaborate with team members to design and execute large-scale modeling efforts, encompassing programming, statistical analysis, and reporting.
    • Contribute to programming new data science products, translating client needs into analytic frameworks for polished applications.
  • Codebase Management:

    • Build, maintain, and enhance codebases supporting key applications.
    • Ensure the production of reusable and modular code in advanced Python and/or R programming.
  • Collaboration and Consulting:

    • Work in a highly collaborative, consensus-oriented environment.
    • Provide consulting for internal teams and external clients on data models, analysis findings, process efficiency, and marketing science best practices.
  • Communication:

    • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, conveying scientific concepts with attention to detail.
    • Support marketing science analyses for clients as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in advanced Python and/or R programming, demonstrating the ability to create and maintain reusable, modular codebases.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, consensus-oriented environment.
  • Experience in analytics, extracting and presenting value from quantitative data.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication of scientific concepts, and excellent time-management skills.

Pluses:

  • Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of the mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with modern techniques and algorithms in machine learning and statistical computing (e.g., regression, clustering/segmentation, time-series analysis, recommender systems, predictive analytics, network analysis, Monte Carlo, agent-based models, Bayesian modeling, data fusion, drivers analysis, neural networks, and genetic algorithms).
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Previous success in designing and deploying machine learning solutions in large-scale production environments.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Atlassian suite) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proficiency in large dataset manipulation, distributed storage, and computing.
  • Experience with JavaScript, especially visualization libraries (e.g., d3.js).
  • Ability to create and deploy web applications.
  • Experience in Linux server and system administration.
  • Background in Market Research.
