Profile Overview
The Data Analyst position at Zema Global Data Corporation is a dynamic, high-impact operational role located in Navi Mumbai, designed specifically for fresh engineering/technology graduates or early-career analytical professionals possessing up to one year of experience.
The successful candidate will sit within the core Data Operations 1 department, working directly alongside senior Data Analysts, Data Developers, Product Managers, and Client Support Specialists to guarantee accurate data flow.
The primary mandate of this role revolves around ensuring that the central C&E (Commodities & Energy) data architecture continuously ingests, validates, processes, and distributes completely reliable, highly precise, and timely market data feeds to enterprise clients worldwide.
Operational daily duties center around monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated data collection pipelines and extraction engines running across the C&E central data warehouse infrastructure.
Analysts are responsible for diving deep into systematic processing logs, conducting fundamental root cause analysis during pipeline failures, and applying effective technical resolutions to minimize operational downtime.
A critical focus area of this role involves end-to-end data quality assurance (QA), where analysts execute continuous audit checks, validate structural integrity, and rectify complex data discrepancies prior to downstream client delivery.
The position requires active, professional email and ticket-based communication with global external vendor partners to resolve vendor file formatting glitches, content inconsistencies, or ingestion failures quickly.
Internally, analysts work closely with internal Data Development teams to report processing bugs, test structural code fixes, and validate updated collection tools before live production releases.
Additionally, analysts act as Tier-2 technical support escalations for Client Support Specialists, resolving intricate queries regarding data point definitions, historical series, and downstream usage analytics.
Employees in this role operate on a rotational 24x7 coverage schedule to seamlessly support international global markets across Australia (AU), United Kingdom (UK), and United States (US) time zones.
The operational arrangement offers flexibility as a partially remote configuration, with mandatory quarter-based in-person office presence at the state-of-the-art Navi Mumbai corporate facility.
