Profile Overview
The Data Analyst will join the EBO Management Information System (MIS) team in Chennai to manage end-to-end data pipelines, operational analytical tasks, and visualization workflows.
Primary obligations focus on gathering, cleaning, aggregating, and interpreting structured and unstructured corporate datasets to uncover key trends, patterns, and business risks.
This role acts as a primary bridge between technical raw data structures and non-technical managerial decision-makers by transforming complex figures into actionable strategic charts.
The incumbent will routinely perform statistical diagnostics, scrub erroneous coding scripts, and build modern visual management dashboards to boost organizational efficiency.
Collaboration is key; the candidate will regularly engage with cross-functional departmental leaders to evaluate process gaps and translate unique business needs into tailored metrics.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
A completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a closely relevant quantitative or technical field.
Technical Competencies & Foundation:
Deep conceptual grounding in statistical methods, data structures, and mathematical analytical modeling.
Demonstrated hands-on experience using spreadsheet software tools (such as Microsoft Excel) for advanced statistical computations, pivot models, and data scrubbing.
Core Analytical & Communication Capabilities:
Strong analytical prowess capable of organizing, processing, interpreting, and presenting extensive datasets with high structural accuracy and precision.
Exceptional critical-thinking skills geared toward extracting practical commercial value from disparate diagnostic reports.
Excellent spoken and written communication talents, with a proven knack for translating intricate, technical analytical concepts into digestible insights for business stakeholders.
Desirable / Nice-to-Have Technical Qualifications:
Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, specifically PowerApps and Power Automate, to drive automated enterprise processes.
Background in relational databases, SQL queries, database development, or core Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data movement procedures.
Practical coding proficiency in Python dedicated to process automation, complex dataset manipulation, and statistical modeling.
