- The Data Analyst I will collaborate closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), Co-Investigators (co-Is), Project Managers, and Research Staff, contributing to research data management, analysis, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain research databases and IT infrastructure.
- Conduct data analysis using R, Stata, SAS, SPSS, or similar tools to ensure quality compliance and generate analytical insights.
- Develop interactive tools for data visualization to support decision-making and report generation.
- Collaborate with PIs and research teams across different locations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data management.
- Assist in the preparation of research manuscripts, performing literature reviews, and creating visual content such as tables and figures.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Candidates with equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical programming languages such as R, Stata, SAS, or SPSS.
- Strong expertise in managing research databases and performing data extraction from local and national patient databases.

- Conduct data analyses using R, Stata, SAS, SPSS, or similar tools to manage quality assurance (QA) and quality compliance (QC).
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QA and QC protocols, ensuring adherence to data standards.
- Manage IT infrastructure and coordinate with Mass General Brigham (MGB) Information Systems and external vendors as needed.
