Profile Overview

  • This role involves assisting in the end-to-end lifecycle of client investment reports, focusing on accuracy, customization, and on-time delivery.

  • The Client Service Associate plays a crucial support function, liaising with internal stakeholders, third-party administrators, and clients to ensure smooth communication and delivery of service.

  • Primary responsibilities include preparing periodic performance reports, managing report templates, and resolving client inquiries regarding investment reporting.

  • The role sits at the intersection of investment operations and client services, requiring a blend of analytical thinking, communication, and data handling.

  • Candidates will gain exposure to both traditional and alternative investment products, enhancing their financial knowledge base.

  • You will also contribute to quality control efforts, template standardization, and internal process improvements that elevate the client experience.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Investment Reporting & Client Servicing

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly investment performance reports tailored for clients.

  • Ensure all reporting complies with GIPS standards to maintain transparency and credibility.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather reporting requirements for new or customized client needs.

  • Address client queries related to investment reports and ensure timely resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams from operations, distribution, product, technology, and shareholder services.

  • Interface with third-party fund administrators and transfer agents to complete investor activity tasks.

  • Engage with internal accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate data submission and validation.

Quality Control and Data Accuracy

  • Assist in the design and testing of new reporting templates for streamlined delivery.

  • Perform routine data validation checks to identify and resolve reporting inconsistencies.

  • Support root cause analysis of discrepancies and collaborate with data owners for resolution.

Report Creation & Template Management

  • Contribute to creating and refining templates for standard and ad-hoc reporting needs.

  • Support periodic audits and reviews of reporting structures and formats.

  • Ensure consistency in content, format, and messaging across all client-facing reports.

Investment Data Consolidation

  • Assist with consolidating performance metrics and investment data into concise formats.

  • Validate data across various platforms before finalizing reports.

  • Track and log data points across traditional and alternative investment products.

Cross-functional Projects

  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives to automate and enhance the reporting experience.

  • Provide input on system improvements from a user and client-service perspective.

  • Contribute to testing and deployment of new client servicing tools and technologies.
