Profile Overview:

• The Junior Data Analyst at ION Analytics will play a pivotal role in the M&A Insights team by sourcing and analyzing market trends and producing insightful periodic reports.

• The role involves supporting private data operations by establishing and maintaining connections in the M&A market and processing data to generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

• The candidate will actively contribute to content creation initiatives within the Insights team while fostering relationships with journalists and market participants.

• The position requires an analytical mindset, a strong interest in global markets, and the ability to interpret diverse datasets.

• The analyst will receive on-the-job training and collaborative support to develop expertise in market analysis and macroeconomic trends.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Educational background in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or M&A Research.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Keen interest in financial markets and macroeconomic events.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
