Profile overview:
- As a Business Data Analyst at NetApp, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for improving and supporting the company’s core business processes and ensuring high data quality. This role demands a blend of operational, technical, and data management skills, combined with a deep understanding of business processes to optimize efficiency.
- In this position, your primary focus will be on Master Data Management (MDM), covering areas like Product, Customer, and InstallBase data. You'll be working closely with key stakeholders to ensure proper setup and management of master data in NetApp’s systems. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting cross-functional projects that contribute to system enhancements and process improvements.
- Your job will also involve monitoring the Data Quality Scorecard and publishing relevant operational and quality metrics. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, and demonstrate excellent documentation abilities.
- Flexibility is key in this role, as you will need to adapt to rotational shifts and a hybrid working environment. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), and Supply Chain Management is highly desirable. A background in using enterprise applications such as Agile, Oracle ERP Cloud, and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI will give you a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Master Data Management (MDM):
- Hands-on experience in Master Data Setup (Product, Customer, InstallBase) in large systems.
- Ability to engage with key business stakeholders for Master Data Operational Activities.
- Experience working on data quality improvement projects and monitoring data quality metrics.
- Experience with enterprise applications, including Oracle Agile and ERP Cloud.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Strong experience in analyzing complex data sets and providing actionable insights to improve business processes.
- Skilled in publishing Operational and Quality Metrics and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in handling Product Configuration, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other product data management activities.
Project Support:
- Proven track record of participating in cross-functional projects, from requirements gathering to system enhancements.
- Ability to support and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring seamless product launch processes.
Software and Tools:
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), and Supply Chain Management.
- Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) workflows and tools to streamline business operations.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong documentation abilities to create clear and concise records of processes, projects, and initiatives.
- Adaptability to work in rotational shifts and flexibility to embrace a hybrid working model.
- Ability to engage with cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in relevant areas, such as data analysis, master data management, and product lifecycle management, are preferred (but not mandatory).
