Profile Overview

  • Role: Data Analyst
  • Purpose: Interpret data to offer insights for business improvement
  • Industry Experience: 2-3 years in data analytics, preferably in the automobile or manufacturing sector
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, etc.)
  • Skills: Data sourcing, cleaning, structuring, and analysis

  • Experience in data sourcing, cleaning, structuring, and analysis

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Gather information from various sources (data warehouses, databases, data integration, and modeling) and interpret patterns and trends.
  • Develop record management processes and policies and handle Share Point data to Excel automation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other departments and understand their requirements.
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes and set up and maintain automated data processes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
  • Analyze datasets and provide information, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to understand data content.
  • Design and conduct surveys and analyze survey data as per team requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets related to management and business, preparing reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
  • Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to showcase business performance and provide sector and competitor benchmarking.
  • Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using reporting tools.
  • Develop predictive models and share insights with clients as per their requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of current and upcoming technologies (automation, tools, and systems) to build efficiencies and effectiveness in own function/client organization.
  • Ability to follow standards and norms to produce consistent results, provide effective control, and reduce risk.
  • Knowledge of various programming languages/software (Python, Microsoft Excel, VBA, Matlab, SQL, etc.) and tools for data analytics.
