Profile Overview:

We are in search of a talented and motivated Data/Business Analyst to become a part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust proficiency in the Microsoft data stack, with expertise in SQL, Kusto (Azure Data Explorer), and related technologies. This role revolves around harnessing our metrics data available in PowerBI & TITAN dashboard to drive actionable insights, predict future trends, and facilitate strategic decision-making processes across the VX organization.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in the Microsoft data stack, including advanced knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Kusto (Azure Data Explorer).
• Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensible data models and non-technical terms.
• Proficiency in managing multiple competing priorities within a flexible and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical aptitude coupled with the ability to maintain a broader perspective, identifying and evaluating opportunities for business enhancement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine the scope of analysis from vague problem statements and utilize the findings to drive informed decisions. Summarize and communicate data analysis results effectively.
• Drive data analysis initiatives for the VX organization, supporting weekly/monthly business rhythm. Ensure regular communication of insights and their impact.
• Proficient in data-driven storytelling through reports & visualizations, framing complex analyses into succinct and impactful narratives for the VX leadership team.
• Develop and refine Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to align with business objectives and monitor performance.
• Forecast future trends and outcomes based on historical data analysis and current market dynamics.
• Conduct rigorous data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of analysis.
• Utilize deep expertise in SQL, Kusto, and other relevant tools & technologies to fulfill rapid ad-hoc insights requests.
• Preferably, have experience using statistical programming languages (Python, SQL) for data access, wrangling, and statistical modeling.
• Demonstrate passion and skills aligned with business insights and data analysis.
