This role offers hands-on experience with various asset classes and provides insights into the intricacies of investment data analysis.
Importance of the Role
As a member of the Tech Enablement team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) and SharePoint. You'll collaborate closely with senior team members to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, and deliver effective solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and Translate
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint.
Develop and Implement
- Design, develop, and implement Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps to address business needs and enhance efficiency.
Provide Insights
- Develop and customize Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Offer Guidance and Training
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to users and stakeholders on Power Platform capabilities.
Stay Updated
- Stay abreast of the latest features and updates in Microsoft Power Platform and leverage them to enhance solutions and drive innovation.
Ensure Alignment
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure alignment of Power Platform solutions with overall IT strategy and architecture.
Adaptability
- Ability to adapt to agile methodologies and be a quick self-learner.
Required Skills
Multi-Tasking
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of SQL Programming, Data Warehousing concepts, and Power Platforms (an added advantage but not mandatory).
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Qualifications
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Automation Understanding
- Understanding of Automation capabilities, automated workflows, integrating with external systems, and implementing business logic.
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with data modeling, visualization, excel macros, power queries, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Expertise in programming and scripting.
Additional Requirements
Preferred Background
- IT academic background with a good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts, RDBMS, and Data Structures.
Certifications
- Microsoft Power Platforms certifications.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of SharePoint, MS Cloud Services, and Agile methodologies.
