Responsibilities:
- Execute and deliver large, complex projects end-to-end, independently or collaboratively.
- Ensure timely delivery of product deliverables.
- Lead technical discussions, offering guidance and troubleshooting expertise.
- Improve key Business and Engineering metrics, enhancing performance, quality, and availability.
- Actively participate in code reviews, architecture, and design discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish coding best practices.
- Contribute to hiring initiatives and promote team accomplishments.
Requirements:
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to drive decisions independently.
- Solid experience in building web-based products.
- 2+ years expertise in dynamic programming languages and MVC web frameworks, preferably Golang.
- Proficiency in Database modeling, relational DB, and optimizing DB queries.
- Experience with common Cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and CI/CD tools.
- Proven track record in building highly-available, scalable distributed systems.
- Willingness to explore and adopt new technologies.
- Passion for small, incremental improvements and refactoring.
- Commitment to quality coding practices and code coverage.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Frontend frameworks, preferably React.js.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and deployment technologies.
