Responsibilities:

Execute and deliver large, complex projects end-to-end, independently or collaboratively.
Ensure timely delivery of product deliverables.
Lead technical discussions, offering guidance and troubleshooting expertise.
Improve key Business and Engineering metrics, enhancing performance, quality, and availability.
Actively participate in code reviews, architecture, and design discussions.
Mentor junior engineers and establish coding best practices.
Contribute to hiring initiatives and promote team accomplishments.

Requirements:

Strong self-motivation with the ability to drive decisions independently.
Solid experience in building web-based products.
2+ years expertise in dynamic programming languages and MVC web frameworks, preferably Golang.
Proficiency in Database modeling, relational DB, and optimizing DB queries.
Experience with common Cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and CI/CD tools.
Proven track record in building highly-available, scalable distributed systems.
Willingness to explore and adopt new technologies.
Passion for small, incremental improvements and refactoring.
Commitment to quality coding practices and code coverage.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Frontend frameworks, preferably React.js.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and deployment technologies.
Understanding of web application security best practices and vulnerabilities.
