Experian is seeking a talented Data Analyst based in Hyderabad, India, to collaborate with UK colleagues and contribute to the business outcomes for the UK&I region. As part of our commitment to a technology transformation program and ambitious global scaling over the next five years, this is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team utilizing Agile DevSecOps principles to deliver business value.

• Experian UKI Region is undergoing a technology transformation program to scale the business globally.
• The business unit consists of 27 engineering teams delivering over 70 products with an annual revenue of $250 million.

Role:

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in digitizing customer journeys, collaborating with lenders, fintechs, and digital marketplaces to create innovative solutions in the financial services market. Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding end-to-end processes for customer delivery and managing a backlog and pipeline of work for junior analysts.
• Maintaining existing solutions and delivering solutions for new clients.
• Configuring products via database tables using SQL queries.
• Configuring the product to deliver excellent client outcomes.
• Building scorecards using decision trees and arithmetic logic calculations with an in-house tool.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, change processes, and security standards.
• Advocating for a culture that achieves business goals and prioritizes fair and reasonable treatment of consumers.
• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of documentation for operational processes.
• Developing product knowledge and creating relevant documentation for successful delivery.
• Identifying changes needed to product functional documentation in line with any changes made to the product.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of extensive experience in Data Management.
• Degree level and/or equivalent professional experience, preferably with a background in mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
• Technical knowledge with an understanding of business operating principles.
• Strong communication skills to report progress and recommend corrective actions.
• Proactive management of internal stakeholder expectations.
• Continuous process improvement to enhance delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Networking skills to build effective relationships within Experian and third-party suppliers.

Experience:

• Collaborative work style, leading by example and inspiring trust in others.
• Coordination with stakeholders, sales teams, and leadership teams to achieve feasible outcomes and identify upcoming opportunities.

Technical Skills/Knowledge:

• Experience using Excel for data manipulation and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE operations.

Beneficial Skills/Knowledge:

• Experience in the credit industry.
