As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying analytical solutions for the supply chain. Collaborate with business leaders, apply innovative problem-solving approaches, and contribute to the ongoing success of AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Data Warehouse/Data Mart solutions by translating business requirements into scalable, robust, and sustainable solutions aligned with the overall system architecture.
  • Design and develop Dimensional Data Models to support Data Warehouse Architecture.
  • Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support back-end operations of websites.
  • Write effective APIs and perform detailed source-system analysis, source-to-target data analysis, and transformation analysis.
  • Design and implement data mappings from various source systems to the data warehouse while ensuring source data integrity.
  • Participate in the complete development cycle for ETL, including design, implementation, validation, documentation, and maintenance.
  • Evolve the Data Warehouse environment within the organization by enhancing information delivery mechanisms and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of the best technical design and approach for new solution development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache, Apache Tomcat).
  • Expertise in Python/R.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and application deployment using CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with distributed version control, such as Git.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux environments, including shell scripting and standard Linux command line tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure.
  • Experience in effectively communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, describe software product features, and discuss technical designs.
