Key Responsibilities

Material Master Data Management

• Create new material master records within SAP and IFS systems following organizational standards and predefined workflows.

• Update and maintain existing material master records to ensure information remains accurate and aligned with changing business requirements.

• Ensure all data entries follow internal governance standards and approved enterprise policies.

• Handle large scale data creation and maintenance activities while maintaining high levels of precision and operational consistency.

• Validate information related to materials, pricing, classifications, procurement attributes, and supply chain parameters before system entry.

Cross Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with procurement teams to gather supplier and purchasing related information.

• Coordinate with engineering departments for product specifications, technical attributes, and material related updates.

• Work alongside manufacturing teams to understand operational requirements associated with materials and production processes.

• Support Bill of Materials teams in maintaining consistency between product structures and material master records.

• Communicate with product environmental compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards including RoHS requirements.

Data Quality and Validation

• Perform regular audits of material master data to identify duplicate entries, incomplete records, and inconsistencies.

• Correct inaccurate data and ensure all records meet quality benchmarks established by the organization.

• Monitor system data integrity and ensure enterprise records remain reliable for operational and reporting purposes.

• Support process standardization initiatives aimed at reducing data related errors and operational inefficiencies.

Process Improvement Initiatives

• Identify operational bottlenecks affecting material master data workflows and propose practical improvements.

• Recommend automation opportunities and streamlined workflows to improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing data quality and reducing manual effort.

• Support business process optimization projects related to ERP systems and enterprise data operations.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare and maintain process documentation, workflow guides, and operational standards.

• Ensure proper documentation exists for all master data related procedures and compliance activities.

• Generate reports and support KPI tracking activities related to data quality, SLA compliance, and operational performance.

• Monitor turnaround times and contribute toward maintaining high productivity and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a full time graduate degree from a recognized institution in any academic stream.

• Applicants with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, Analytics, or related fields may have an added advantage.
