Profile Overview:
This role is part of the Data and Operations group at Morningstar.
Designed as an entry-level opportunity, the role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
Offers exposure to various data types, including public equity filings, private market transactions, ESG taxonomies, and managed investment data.
Candidates will gain hands-on experience with tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Structured onboarding and training are provided to ensure skill development and professional growth.
The work location is permanently based in Navi Mumbai (Vashi).
Preference will be given to candidates already residing in Mumbai.
Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve working in rotational shifts, including night shifts.

Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, with a minimum score of 60%.
Should possess strong communication skills in English (written, oral, and comprehension).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word, is essential.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, curious mindset.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work in team settings and interact with various stakeholders.

Daily Responsibilities:
Collect, verify, and process data with varying complexity.
Respond to client/internal queries to ensure accurate data capture aligned with policies.
Learn and apply Morningstar’s research standards and processes for high productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.
Take part in stretch projects, process enhancements, or tool improvements.
