Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program with graduation expected in 2025 or 2026

• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and data pipelines

• Beginner to intermediate level understanding of SQL for querying datasets

• Willingness to learn database technologies including relational systems, columnar stores, and NoSQL stores

• Interest in visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau which can help in reporting

• Familiarity with Python at a beginner or intermediate level with interest in scripting

• Enthusiasm to work with large data volumes and complex data structures

• Eagerness to learn how data governance, data architecture, and data management work

• Basic awareness of cloud concepts such as IAM, EC2, EMR within AWS ecosystem

• Good analytical ability with the capacity to approach challenges logically

• Strong communication ability with clear writing and speaking skills
