Profile Overview:

The Analyst will work within the Model Risk Management Group (MRMG) under the Global Risk and Compliance function
-
Responsible for independent review of predictive, statistical, and machine learning models used in key areas like Risk, Finance, and Treasury
-
Role requires a deep understanding of model frameworks, data pipelines, and model performance metrics
-
Involves conducting gap assessments, enhancing risk control frameworks, and elevating modeling practices
-
Collaborates closely with model developers, risk managers, and leadership teams
-
Expected to deliver detailed insights through analytical reviews, validation strategies, and research initiatives
-
Will play a key role in upholding regulatory compliance, model transparency, and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
-
0 to 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or big data roles
-
Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, or similar quantitative disciplines from top-tier institutes
-
Hands-on experience with model development or validation is preferred
-
Experience applying quantitative methods and advanced analytics to real-world problems
-
Excellent communication skills to convey complex model validation insights to non-technical stakeholders
-
Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and in cross-functional teams
-
Familiarity with model governance processes and regulatory expectations

Passionate about learning, with a willingness to explore new technologies and research methods
Additional Info:

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or similar data manipulation tools

Strong understanding of machine learning and traditional statistical modeling techniques

Experience or familiarity with methods like decision trees, neural networks, Bayesian models, random forests, gradient boosting, reinforcement learning, text mining, etc.
