  • Strong familiarity with Excel is a must, especially in handling complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.

  • Experience or interest in learning data querying tools like SQL, and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Power Query, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports that inform management about performance metrics and trends.

  • Analyze internal data related to rate structures, customer segments, and market performance, drawing actionable insights for the Product and Pricing Group.

  • Use Excel, Power BI, SQL, and other data tools to manage, visualize, and report on complex datasets.

  • Support the Interest Rate Committee by managing approval processes and compiling relevant information for review.

  • Provide detailed summaries and data presentations to Senior Management to aid in strategic decision-making.

  • Liaise with departments such as IT, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to align reporting standards and data definitions.

  • Help streamline processes related to data retrieval and reporting to ensure timely, error-free outputs.

  • Tackle one-off data requests and investigative analyses that contribute to short- and long-term business goals.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Build positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that data is properly interpreted and used for business planning.

  • Translate complex data into clear visualizations and business narratives that help non-technical audiences understand key trends.

  • Participate in team meetings to share findings, offer recommendations, and support group-wide initiatives.

  • Regularly engage with senior leaders and decision-makers to offer insights and provide updates on ongoing projects.

  • Coordinate with the IT department to access the data architecture needed for enhanced reporting and modeling.

  • Support the Sales and Marketing teams by providing performance insights that influence campaign strategies and product development.


Tools and Technologies:

  • Extensive use of Microsoft Excel for data cleaning, transformation, and modeling.

  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases and compiling large datasets efficiently.

  • Exposure to or willingness to learn Power BI for data visualization and interactive reporting.

  • Use of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence) or similar platforms for business intelligence reporting.
