Profile Overview

  • Role Responsibilities:
    • Support business analysts and developers with expertise in data handling.
    • Engage in data analysis, profiling, and sourcing tasks.
    • Develop and implement Data Quality (DQ) rules.
    • Maintain the Global Financial Crime (GFC) Critical Data Element list in Collibra.
    • Interpret business needs into actionable data models and ETL specifications.
    • Assist in the development, testing, and resolution of ETL issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues with providers.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency:
    • In-depth knowledge of relational databases and data modeling techniques.
    • Advanced SQL query writing capabilities.
    • Familiarity with Big Data/Hadoop platforms.
    • Hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting and Python.
  • Data Integration Expertise:
    • Proficiency in data integration and data conversions.
    • Experience with ETL tools and workflows.
    • Familiarity with Autosys for workflow automation.
  • Visualization and Modeling Tools:
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools, especially Tableau.
    • Competence with data modeling tools like Power Designer.
  • Additional Knowledge:
    • Basic familiarity with Collibra for maintaining critical data repositories.
