The Analytical Data Operations (ADO) team at Verisk’s ISO division ensures the effectiveness of the largest P&C insurance database in the US.
ADO focuses on refining data to support pricing in the US property and casualty (P&C) insurance market.
The team consists of data analysts, engineers, BI developers, and actuarial experts collaborating on various data operations.
Core responsibilities include data ingestion, integration, transformation, analysis, and BI development.
The team is dedicated to improving the analytics platform that underpins critical US P&C industry products.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related areas.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and MS Office for daily operations.
- Experience with programming languages like C++, Java, Python, or R.
Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage concurrent projects effectively.
- Eagerness to explore technology and maintain a growth mindset.

Analyze insurance data to identify trends, anomalies, emerging patterns, and quality issues.
Develop and automate processes to enhance data quality and detect errors efficiently.

Utilize SQL, Excel, and tools like Snowflake, Power BI, and Sigma for data operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance access and understanding of core data assets.

Build expertise in insurance coverages, actuarial methodologies, and analytic models.
Contribute to conversations about industry trends and company data practices.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on location, experience, and skills.
