Position: Data Engineer (Azure ADF)

Location: Remote (India) [4PM - 12PM shift]

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled data professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL, a foundational understanding of ETL processes, and a proactive approach to data problem-solving. Experience with data warehousing (DW) is beneficial, and PowerBI skills would be an excellent addition.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Develop SQL queries to manipulate and analyze data, supporting various data engineering and analytics initiatives
  • Conduct requirements analysis and deliver end-to-end data solutions, including sourcing, mapping, and coding data transformations
  • Create prototypes and models to demonstrate the impact of data-driven insights and support business intelligence needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality, innovative solutions
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to internal teams and clients, explaining complex data solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data security, data quality, and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize data systems for seamless data processing and efficiency
  • Contribute to data warehousing efforts, ensuring scalable and reliable data storage solutions (Optional)
  • Create dashboards and visualizations in PowerBI to enhance insights and reporting (Optional)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL processes
  • Proficient in SQL for data analysis and transformations
  • Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • PowerBI experience is a plus
