Profile Overview:

Role Summary:
- As a Machine Learning Scientist I at Lytx, you will be integral to the Applied Machine Learning Team based in India. Your primary role involves developing and deploying machine learning and computer vision algorithms. These algorithms are essential for monitoring and assessing driver behavior and their surroundings to identify risks and enhance safety for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End development of Deep Learning (DL) models, including:
  - Prototyping
  - Formulation
  - Data Engineering
  - Model Training
- Implementing, debugging, and refining DL models.
- Developing and optimizing the deployment of DL models on cloud/Edge platforms.
- Optimizing DL models through techniques such as quantization and model pruning.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and company's goals.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication (EC), or related fields.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of core machine learning concepts.
- Practical experience with at least two DL frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow (TF).
- Proficient in any low-level programming language, such as C or C++.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid foundation in mathematics, probability, and algorithms.
Collaboration:
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
