Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at AffiniPay, you will play a pivotal role in translating partnership and affinity agreements into actionable insights. You will collaborate with Finance and Partnerships to analyze the impact of decisions on the partnership ecosystem and leverage data engineering to automate and scale processes. Your responsibilities will include:

Calculating Royalties

• Collaborating with Finance & Partnerships to calculate royalties for AffiniPay’s partner and affinity network.

Ad Hoc Analysis

• Performing ad hoc analysis to identify underlying trends impacting transaction volume across the AffiniPay ecosystem.

Process Automation

• Working with Data Engineering and Finance to automate the royalty calculation process, enhancing efficiency and scalability.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partnering with teams across AffiniPay to track and analyze data, delivering actionable insights.

Data Analysis and Optimization

• Analyzing historical data, defining best practices, and identifying opportunities for optimization.

Visualization and Presentation

• Developing interactive visualizations to facilitate stakeholder understanding and support data-driven decision-making.

Data Lifecycle Management

• Managing all steps of the data lifecycle, including collection, measurement, analysis, interpretation, and presentation.

Stakeholder Communication

• Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders, balancing technical and business perspectives.

Data Exploration

• Gathering and exploring data from internal and external sources to uncover patterns, relationships, anomalies, and trends.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in banking, payment processing, or finance technology.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Domo.
• Experience in transforming, analyzing, and visualizing data using Python.
