Role Description

As an Associate Data Scientist at SoftSensor.ai, based in Gurugram, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our analytical methodologies and refining our products. This full-time hybrid position allows for flexibility in remote work. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting statistical modeling, data pre-processing, and comprehensive data analysis. You will be instrumental in defining objectives, conducting experiments, and employing statistical methodologies to evaluate results. Effective communication of findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders is a crucial aspect of this role.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Experience:

    • 1-2 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, or related fields.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Excellent understanding of machine learning and data science concepts (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
    • Experience in data querying using SQL and NoSQL databases.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Data Handling:

    • Experience working with large datasets.

  • Analytical Abilities:

    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Communication:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
