Role Description: As a Software Engineer II within the Microsoft Fabric platform team, you will contribute to building and maintaining the operating system, providing customers with a unified data stack for their entire data estate. The Core platform team, responsible for the main compute platform supporting all Fabric products, seeks an experienced engineer with a background in high throughput and multi-tenant services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
3+ years of engineering experience with highly scalable cloud services
5+ years of technical engineering experience with proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Responsibilities:

Design high-quality components in C#/Java with clean and tested code.
Integrate Azure technologies for high scale and reliability.
Lead architecture, design, and development of features and solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product Management and partner teams.
Review and contribute to specifications and implementations from other team members.
Provide technical leadership across features, projects, service fundamentals, and tools.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
