Short Description:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst for our Cloud Supply Chain Transformation team at Microsoft's Hyderabad location. This individual contributor role involves overseeing and improving CSCP operations planning processes, utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods. The Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to enhance planning and execution, identifies data quality issues, and recommends corrective actions. Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SQL query building is required, along with 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain/Product Data operations or Data Analytics. The role also entails developing BI solutions, creating data visualizations, and maintaining effective communication within a highly matrixed organization.

CSCP manages strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning, supply chain execution, capacity provisioning, and datacenter asset dispositioning globally.

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our Cloud Supply Chain Transformation team. This role, reporting to the Supply Chain Executive leadership, involves individual contribution with a focus on influencing, planning, executing, and reporting for CSCP operations. The Analyst will utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to enhance planning processes, collaborating with stakeholders to refine and improve overall CSCP planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee CSCP operations planning using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Collaborate with workstream stakeholders to align, refine, and improve planning and execution.
  • Analyze processes to identify data quality issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Develop and utilize dashboards using business intelligence tools.
  • Guide continuous data quality initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve existing tools and expedite the adoption of new tools and processes.

Qualifications: Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Business
  • 5-7 years' experience in Supply Chain/Product Data operations/Data Analytics
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, data analytics & reporting tools
  • Proficient in SQL query building or other database management

Preferred:

  • Enterprise data management, integration, analytical, and data quality skills
  • Experience as a data engineer, BI developer, or data analyst
  • Thorough knowledge of SQL, DataBricks, Cosmos, Spark
  • Excellent Power BI skills
  • Understanding of data pipelines, data cleansing, and data transformations
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Cloud/high-tech supply chain experience is a plus

  • Develop BI solutions to measure and deliver data quality at scale.
  • Understand business processes and master data quality requirements.
  • Create data visualizations to deliver insights and metrics.
  • Collaborate with analysts and engineering to deliver solutions aligned with established architecture rules.

  • Provide clear, effective, and timely communications.
  • Maintain flexibility with work hours to support worldwide communications as needed.
