In today's world, content creators are ubiquitous, crafting content for various purposes including school projects, event announcements, work updates, and sharing them via email, web pages, social media, blogs, and more. This innovative experience is centered around multi-modal (image/video/audio) content creation, offering powerful tools that harness the creativity and imagination of creators, combined with cutting-edge AI technology to simplify the creation of beautiful, inspiring, and engaging communication and storytelling materials across all devices. Responsibilities:

• Develop AI/ML-based features for the Designer product.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, encompassing design, analytics/modeling, code reviews, development, quality assurance, observability, and live-site support. Uphold best practices in data engineering, data science, and embrace new methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open sources.
• Cultivate relationships with partners within Microsoft to introduce innovation into both new and existing products. Serve as an AI expert and thought leader, contributing to vision/strategy development, creating white papers, conference papers, blogs, and participating in conferences and internal/external AI meetings.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and disciplined data and software engineering practices to deliver business value, guided by data.
• Offer feedback, drive improvements, and share knowledge as a data science expert.
• Cultivate an effective team culture, emphasizing high trust and close collaboration with others.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, demonstrating a growth mindset and a passion for learning.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 8 years of professional experience in designing, developing, testing, and delivering software.
• An MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Recent experience with relevant projects in Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Video AI.
• Proficiency in C# and Python, with a preference for the latter.
• Experience with statistical modeling and deep learning, especially using frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different groups and disciplines.
• Strong skills in design, debugging, and problem-solving.
• A passion for customers, innovation, product quality, service excellence, and test engineering.
• Experience in delivering high-quality products or services at scale is a plus.
