Responsibilities and Core Objectives

GenAI Model Risk Assessment & Oversight

  • Support the independent oversight and effective challenge of Generative AI, LLM-based systems, and advanced machine learning models deployed across various enterprise applications.

  • Participate actively in risk-based model reviews, focusing on model objectives, design, and architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise risk management goals.

  • Evaluate training data sources, prompt engineering methodologies, and underlying assumptions used in the construction of LLMs and machine learning algorithms.

  • Analyze model performance metrics, monitoring approaches, and existing control mechanisms across credit, marketing, and fraud detection platforms.

  • Execute model risk testing, documentation reviews, and evidence assessment processes in accordance with the strict standards set by the Model Risk Management Group.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to algorithmic bias, explainability, robustness, security vulnerabilities, and misuse of artificial intelligence models.

Frameworks, Research & Continuous Learning

  • Contribute to gap assessments to evaluate current modeling practices against internal compliance policies and external regulatory expectations for AI/ML models.

  • Conduct continuous research on AI/ML and GenAI technologies to assist the Model Risk Management Group in updating validation guidance and standards.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends in Generative AI, AI risk management, and global regulatory developments, applying insights to daily validation tasks.

  • Help improve the overall efficiency and quality of the model validation processes through strong analytical execution and meticulous documentation.

  • Develop consistent, scalable, and defensible GenAI risk management practices to be integrated across all enterprise operational frameworks.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Prepare clear, structured analysis, validation notes, and risk summaries for internal stakeholders and model committees.

  • Communicate analytical findings effectively to business partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders with guidance from managers.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, product, and risk partners to support validation execution and smooth operations.

Technical Competencies and Educational Background

Technical Skills

Educational & Professional Background
