Profile overview:
The role involves close coordination with product teams and business partners to understand challenges, define important questions and identify how data can guide decisions.
You will gather, clean, organise and examine multiple types of data to find patterns that bring clarity to business decisions. You will also take part in creating models that diagnose issues, forecast outcomes and support recommendations for future actions.
The work requires quick trials of concepts, repeated testing and refinement to support new product features and updates. It includes shaping solutions that use modern data science approaches along with classical statistical methods.
You will contribute to building capability in newer AI areas, including the use of generative systems and automated agent frameworks. Part of your responsibility is ensuring that solutions can scale on cloud systems and handle large volumes of incoming information.
The role includes coordination across countries, markets and functions. You may also help improve work processes and support standard ways of working. The role offers exposure to multiple analytical tasks such as business understanding, model creation, validation, communication and deployment.
Qualifications:
A degree in technology, mathematics, engineering, statistics, operations research or related technical fields.
Practical experience in solving analytical problems through structured thinking and logical reasoning.
Strong knowledge of regression, forecasting, causal analysis, simulation and optimisation.
Familiarity with modern AI tools, newer model building approaches and agent based systems is an advantage.
Experience in creating and managing data science solutions through the full lifecycle.
Strong skills in Python and Spark, and the ability to work confidently with complex datasets.
Comfort in gathering requirements, speaking with stakeholders and presenting insights in a clear manner.
Ability to work with large datasets from internal systems and external partners.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Databricks.
Strong communication skills and clarity in explaining technical topics to non technical teams.
Good listening abilities and a service oriented approach while working with internal groups.

A mindset focused on finding cleaner, easier and more effective solutions.
Ability to operate in multicultural settings and collaborate with colleagues across countries.
High ethical standards when working with data and confidential information.
Additional info:
This role functions as the technical expert for diagnostic and predictive modelling. You will support business partners by creating decisions backed by structured methods and ensure that insights translate into actions.
You will help connect multiple data sources to provide deeper understanding of changing customer behaviour. The position involves improvement of processes, simplification of workflows and support for faster delivery cycles.
Although this is an individual contributor role, it requires frequent collaboration with interpreters, strategy teams and market teams. You will also guide peers in adopting stronger analytical practices and better quality standards.
Clarity and precision are important since the role involves handling large amounts of information. The organisation supports long term growth in data engineering skills, analytical automation and cloud based delivery systems.
You will ensure that solutions can scale across teams and be reused for future needs. The company also encourages candidates to verify official offers and remain cautious of fraudulent communication.
