Profile overview:

The role of M&A Junior Data Analyst at ION Analytics focuses on generating high-quality research, reports, and insights on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) within a designated region or sector.
You will be part of the M&A Insights team, which is responsible for tracking market activity, analyzing datasets, and producing reports on key trends, deal flows, and market shifts.
The position involves both data analysis and editorial collaboration, requiring you to convert raw data into insightful charts, visualizations, and compelling stories that support decision-making.
You will engage with market participants, journalists, and data sources to ensure accurate and timely information collection.

- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex datasets in the context of broader market conditions.
- Attention to detail and an investigative mindset to identify patterns and anomalies in financial data.
- Interest in global markets, macroeconomic events, and the M&A landscape.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple reporting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Familiarity with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
- Previous exposure to M&A-related research, investment banking, or corporate finance.
