Profile overview

  • Join the NIQ Data Science unit as a Data Scientist focused on designing and enhancing retail measurement products.

  • Work closely with a team responsible for sample design, universe estimation, and data-driven retail index projects.

  • Play a hands-on role in ensuring data quality, innovating processes, and solving complex problems with statistical rigor.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or related quantitative fields.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong familiarity with Excel for data management and reporting.

  • Competency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or R, for data manipulation and statistical analysis.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and balance priorities across multiple projects.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with teams globally in a multi-country virtual setup.

  • Solid analytical mindset with strengths in problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong attention to detail and interest in continuous skill enhancement, especially in new technologies.

  • Excellent command of English for writing reports and presenting analyses.

  • Entry level; up to 1 year of work experience is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Exposure to FMCG, retail, or market research is an added advantage but not a strict requirement.
