Profile Overview

  • This role sits within the Workforce Insights (WIN) Data Science team, part of the Global Shared Services (GSS) function.

  • The analyst will be responsible for creating and managing data-driven solutions to optimize HR decision-making processes.

  • It involves designing dashboards, automating scorecards, and building scalable systems to reduce manual reporting.

  • The job requires regular interaction with HR and business teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • A full-time graduation degree from an accredited university is mandatory.

  • Preferred Degrees:

    • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Sciences, or a Bachelor of Engineering (BE).

  • Core Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

    • Hands-on experience with SQL or BigQuery.

    • Solid command over Python and R programming languages.

  • Statistical Expertise:

    • Understanding of core statistical concepts and calculations.

    • Ability to apply statistical tests like regressions, ANOVAs, t-tests, and classification models.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

    • Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail in data validation.

    • Ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Designing Data-Driven Solutions

  • Build automated dashboards and scorecards to streamline HR reporting functions.

  • Create scalable reporting solutions that minimize manual work and maximize efficiency.

  • Assist data scientists with data preparation and visualization tasks for advanced analytics.

Advanced Analytics and Insights

  • Apply machine learning models and statistical methods to identify patterns in workforce data.

  • Use regression, classification, t-tests, and ANOVA for insightful data interpretation.

  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting formats to reduce ad-hoc requests.

Tool Development and Automation

  • Utilize Python, R, and SQL to build pipelines, automate dashboards, and clean datasets.

  • Focus on developing reusable scripts and templates for recurring analytical needs.

  • Support the enhancement of analytical efficiency through tool-based solutions.

Visualization and Communication

  • Create engaging dashboards, infographics, and visual stories to convey HR metrics.

  • Translate complex data insights into simple narratives for business stakeholders.

  • Work around data limitations while preserving the integrity and clarity of information.

Cross-functional Collaboration
