Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Insights
Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze data from various sources.
Convert mission requirements into comprehensive analytical models to derive meaningful results.
Perform data collection, cleansing, integration, and validation to ensure data integrity.
Apply data science methodologies, including statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, to analyze datasets.
Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
Develop predictive models and visualization dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Technical Skills and Implementation
Utilize programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for data manipulation and visualization.
Extract and query data from relational databases using SQL.
Implement machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
Create new features from existing data to enhance the accuracy of predictive models.
Translate analytical findings into reports, presentations, and data dashboards for business leaders.
Apply business intelligence tools to communicate data insights effectively.
Collaboration and Reporting
Work closely with stakeholders to define data science challenges and propose solutions.
Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and reports.
Prepare summaries of key insights from data analyses and present them to decision-makers.

Qualifications
Educational and Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
0-2 years of professional experience, with academic projects and internships considered valuable.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Python programming, particularly libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability distributions.
Familiarity with machine learning techniques such as decision trees, clustering, and regression models.
Experience working with SQL to extract, query, and manipulate data.
Knowledge of data visualization techniques, including creating dashboards and charts.
Ability to handle missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies in datasets.
Security Clearance and Compliance
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Candidate must either possess or be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
Preference for candidates with an active Interim Secret or Final Secret clearance.
