Profile Overview:

  • As a Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence, you will be part of IBM Consulting through its prestigious Associate Program, designed for recent university graduates.

  • You will engage with diverse clients across industries, helping them solve complex business challenges by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, AI frameworks, and advanced data analytics.

  • Your role will involve working on IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI initiatives, enabling clients to accelerate their digital transformation and derive meaningful insights from data.

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and business strategists, will be key to delivering impactful solutions.

  • You will be involved in developing predictive and prescriptive models, integrating machine learning techniques, and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    • Master’s degree preferred

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong programming proficiency in Python, with experience in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face.

    • Familiarity with libraries such as SciKit Learn, Pandas, and Matplotlib.

    • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms.

    • Experience with COBOL and Java is a plus.

    • Exposure to PySpark and big data technologies is advantageous.

  • Professional Expertise:

    • Ability to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate AI solutions.

    • Experience in refactoring and rewriting code from one language to another, particularly COBOL to Java.

    • Proficiency in documenting solution architectures and implementation strategies.

    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from large datasets.

    • Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
