The Analyst, Forecasting role at Concentrix involves working closely with multiple teams to develop, refine, and maintain forecasting models that support business operations.

A strong understanding of workforce management (WFM) concepts, including contact volume forecasting and Average Handling Time (AHT) analytics, is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all forecasting and budget planning activities within the organization.
Update and maintain forecasting models by integrating weekly and monthly actual performance data.
Conduct detailed trend analysis to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations for refining forecasts.
Develop multiple forecasting scenarios based on data inputs and business requirements.
Capture, clean, and preprocess data for use in forecasting models, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Generate short-term and long-term forecasts while incorporating potential business impacts.
Adjust and refine forecasts based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business conditions.
Maintain comprehensive process documentation for all forecasting-related activities and update methodologies as needed.
Develop and implement best practices for time-series forecasting and predictive analytics.
Provide insights and analysis on workforce management (WFM) metrics, including contact volume trends and AHT forecasting.
Support data-driven decision-making by presenting forecasting insights to senior management and cross-functional teams.
Leverage advanced analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data accessibility and streamline forecasting workflows.
Desired Skills
Proficiency in mathematical and statistical modeling, with expertise in tools such as R-Studio and Python.
Experience in machine learning models, including classification algorithms and linear/logistic regression.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Ability to work with large datasets, ensuring data integrity and efficient analysis.
Hands-on experience with forecasting in complex and large-scale business environments.
Deep understanding of contact center metrics and workforce management concepts.
Strong business acumen to interpret data in the context of organizational objectives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to make data-driven decisions that align with business strategies and operational goals.
Experience in predictive analytics and trend analysis to improve business forecasting capabilities.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Data Science.
Experience in forecasting, data analysis, and predictive modeling within a business environment.
Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical techniques, and data analytics.
Previous work experience in a BPO or contact center is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume data processing and interpretation.
Certification in data analytics or machine learning is an added advantage.
