Profile Overview:
Role Purpose:
- The Data Analyst will be integral to Akkodis’ Data and Analytics department, helping transform raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- This role involves handling large volumes of data from the data lake, creating user-friendly self-service analytics solutions, and delivering data insights for internal teams and external healthcare technology clients.
- As a key contributor, the Data Analyst will work in an agile environment, bridging technical solutions with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Solutions Development: Design and implement data analytic solutions from conceptualization to deployment.
- Lifecycle Involvement: Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, data profiling, and deploying solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper backend data structures and seamless reporting functionality.
- Operational Support: Maintain and troubleshoot reporting solutions while supporting upgrades and configurations for BI tools.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for reporting solutions.
- Innovation: Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and proposing innovative solutions.
- Leadership: Mentor junior data analysts and foster industry best practices in data management and analytics.
- Governance Compliance: Adhere to company-wide data governance policies and standards.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent field experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methodologies.
- Fluency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Systems and Tools:
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and Hadoop tools (Hive, Impala).
- Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and BI analytic concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex data insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in data modeling and design.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like GCP.
- Knowledge of workflow automation tools such as Airflow.
- Exposure to healthcare data and user acceptance testing (UAT) in agile environments.
