Profile Overview

The Data Visualization Specialist will play a key role in creating visual data solutions that enhance decision-making for internal stakeholders.
In this role, the individual will:
- Develop and deploy interactive dashboards that present comprehensive insights to teams across HR, business units, and leadership levels.
- Build data visualizations that can be customized based on user needs, ensuring a unique view for each stakeholder.
- Translate the requirements from various internal departments into visually engaging and informative dashboards.
Key responsibilities focus on data transformation and storyboarding, turning complex data sets into easily understandable insights.
The successful candidate will need a strong blend of technical and analytical skills, particularly in Power BI and SQL, to deliver impactful visualizations.
Collaboration is essential in this position, as it requires working with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill data visualization needs effectively.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certification Requirements

Relevant certifications are highly desirable, particularly:
- Power BI Certification (e.g., PL-300)
- Certifications in other data visualization tools like Tableau are also valued.

Design Data Visualizations and Dashboards:
- Develop comprehensive dashboards that offer visual insights and key data to HR, business leaders, and functional managers.
- Construct visualizations that cover multiple views, from aggregate summaries to detailed individual insights.
- Ensure visualizations are intuitive and can be drilled down from team-level views to individual performance metrics.
Customizable Views:
- Create dashboard elements tailored to different stakeholders such as:
  - HR teams
  - Business units
  - Functional teams
  - Centers of Excellence (COEs)
  - Leadership and employee groups
- Enable customizable options that allow users to select the level of detail or aggregation they need.
Translate Stakeholder Needs into Visual Insights:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their requirements.
- Convert complex data and insights into visual dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Prioritize user-friendly designs that facilitate data interpretation for stakeholders without deep technical expertise.
