Bain & Company is hiring for a fresher entry level Associate Data Analyst (Reporting & Analytics)

Role of BCN: The BCN supports Bain's case teams globally, providing analytics and research solutions across various industries, client development, private equity diligence, and Bain intellectual property.
Components: The BCN consists of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services, and Shared Services.

Role Location: Based in Gurugram office within Bain’s BCN.
Team Function: Provide business intelligence support on key metrics to global functions at Bain.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analytics Support: Handling both recurring and ad-hoc analytics on key metrics as required by leadership.
- Tool Utilization: Using automated data processing and visualization tools.
- Workflow and Dashboard Development:
  - Building new workflows and dashboards using Alteryx and Tableau.
  - Refreshing and maintaining Tableau dashboards, optimizing Alteryx workflows.
  - Developing expertise on Bain data sources for effective output.

Education:
- Required: First class undergraduate/postgraduate from reputed colleges.
- Preferred: Degree in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics, or Market Research.
Experience:
- Required: 0-4 years for graduates or 0-2 years for post-graduates with experience in handling large, multi-dimensional data sets and developing visualizations.
Skills and Abilities:
- Required:
  - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  - Working knowledge of data analytics software like Alteryx and Tableau.
  - Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred:
  - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  - Experience with other BI tools and capability to learn new tools.

Technical Expertise:
- Data Visualization and EDA Tools:
  - Building new workflows and dashboards using Alteryx and Tableau.
  - Maintaining and optimizing Tableau dashboards and Alteryx workflows.
  - Expertise in key Bain data sources.
Problem Solving:
- Structured approach to problem framing, work management, and defining next steps.
- Logical reasoning to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of data analytics approaches.
Stakeholder Management:
- Direct interaction with global stakeholders.
- Translating user requirements into specific outputs.
- Performing recurring tasks independently.
