Profile overview:

• Serve as a Data Scientist in the Digital and Analytics Services Division within the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) at NASA.
• Support various human capital initiatives by enhancing analytical workflows and delivering data-driven insights.
• Engage in tasks encompassing data storage, integration, analysis, and visualization to drive informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to optimize data utilization and foster a culture of enterprise-wide demand for data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to the development of data access methods and facilitate the dissemination of insights to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python for compiling and analyzing data.
• Experience in applying machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence methods to extract insights.
• Demonstrated ability to support team efforts, conduct peer code reviews, and communicate analytical findings effectively.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools to present insights in a comprehensible manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex human capital challenges.
