Profile Overview:

As a Data Scientist at CommerceIQ, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and value creation for our B2B SaaS products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Operations, you will leverage advanced machine learning techniques to tackle complex challenges and deliver actionable insights. Your responsibilities will span from understanding business needs and formulating data-driven solutions to prototyping, developing, and deploying robust, scalable models. With a focus on continuous improvement and customer-centricity, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our platform and the brands we serve.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics from a reputable institution.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in solving data science problems that have directly contributed to customer value.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in machine learning theory and practice, optimization methods, data mining, statistics, and linear algebra.
• Specialized Skills: Exposure to machine learning techniques for processing image and text data, such as LLMs, OCR, and embeddings.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python/R for writing modular and scalable code, with knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Traits: Curiosity, self-motivation, and a passion for solving real-world problems, coupled with a relentless focus on delivering maximum value to customers.
